Jeremy Brashears teaches 7th grade math, biology, and he is the football coach.Before Mr. Brashears moved to Canton he was coaching defensive line and taught algebra 1 at Enid High School. Before he was at Enid, he was a principal and head football coach at Kremlin.“Every school is different. I think between Enid and Canton, it is way different. That’s part of the reason I wanted to come back,” Brashears, said. Brashears lives in Fairview, so Canton is closer to home.Brashears graduated from Fairview High School. Mr. Brashears has two girls attending Fairview Schools. The oldest is Katy Brashears, a sophomore. The youngest is Sarah Brashears, a 7th grader. The Brashears family likes to go out on the boat and go camping, and Mr. Brashears loves to golf in his free time.“I enjoy teaching and love coaching football. Kids here are fun to work with and have good personalities,” Brashears, coach and teacher, said. Mr. Brashears listens to Sound Garden and Candle Box, and also little rap.
